Strawmulching
B & K Revegetation & Landscaping specialise in strawmulching which is an excellent erosion control technique. Strawmulching is the process of blowing a stream of straw to areas covered with seed at a depth of 20mm to 30mm.
Bitumen emulsion is then applied on top of the straw to bind it together, giving protection from wind and storms.
Strawmulching is an extremely efficient erosion control technique and is used on mine sites, housing estates, open fields, batters, and any other disturbed land.
